DOVER CROSSING

Dover Crossing is a grocery-anchored shopping center located just off the Spaulding Turnpike (Routes 4 and 16) and sits on Route 108/Central Avenue in the center of Dover’s major commercial district. The center is easily accessed, with two signalized entrances off of Central Avenue, and boasts excellent visibility, with two pylon signs. The area has impressive daytime and permanent populations, both of which are growing and dynamic. The residential population within in a seven mile radius has increased nearly 11% since 2000 to over 86,000 people. The daytime population is bolstered by: i). the highly regarded and expanding Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, located just one-half mile away and employing over 2,000 people; ii). Liberty Mutual Insurance, located under two miles away and employing over 3,000 people, their largest office outside of Boston; and iii). the University of New Hampshire in nearby Durham with over 13,000 students.
