As founder of Unison Realty Partners, Karim is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment portfolio, management and growth. He has over 15 years of real estate experience, predominantly in the retail sector.

Prior to founding Unison, Karim worked for ABC Group, a leading retailer in Lebanon, here he worked on the development of a 1,000,000 square foot shopping mall in downtown Beirut and the operations of a number of malls across Lebanon. As a business, ABC Group was the first to introduce the concept of the department store to the region 80 years ago, and later the first mall concept. The company has a long history of innovation, including being the 1st retailer to advertise in the county and the 1st to employ women on its sales force. Today, ABC Group serves as both a mall manager and a general retailer with 8 locations and over 1,000 employees. Karim continues to serve on the company’s Board of Directors.

Prior to dedicating his career to real estate, Karim worked in the banking industry with HSBC Private Bank in Geneva, Switzerland and at the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Karim holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor in History from the Sorbonne University in Paris. Karim is a member of ICSC.
